  • What Vaccinations Does My Pet Need?

    All boarding dogs on the property must be up-to-date on at least Parvo, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccinations. We also require a copy of a Rabies Certificate, if your pet is more than 16 weeks of age. 

    Your veterinarian is welcome to email current vaccination records to us at Shadalane@aol.com or FAX copies to (760) 842-1881.

    Required: Rabies Certificate (1 or 3 years), Parvo, Distemper, and Bordatella, 

    Senior dogs and dogs with certain health restrictions may have veterinarian-approved vaccination requirements.


  • How Do I Make a Reservation?

    Call us at (760) 726-3391 to schedule an appointment or email us at MargaleResort@gmail.com with any and all pertinent information regarding to dates of check in and check out, breed of dog, and your contact information.

  • What Is the Minimum Age for Boarding My Pet?

    Margale Pet Resort will accept puppies as young as 8 weeks of age, with a vaccination and de-worming record from the breeder. All boarding dogs on the property must be up-to-date on Parvo, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccinations. A Rabies Certificate is also required if your pet is more than 16 weeks of age.

  • Does Margale Pet Resort Have Any Boarding Restrictions?

    For the safety of your pet and other guests at Margale Pet Resort, we do not accept pets that have been coughing within the last week or pets that have contagious diseases. We have a case-by-case assessment on pets who are people-aggressive, pets that have open wounds or stitches, & pets that are recovering from surgery. 

  • What Does Your Pet Do All Day?

    Your dog will be relaxing in a comfortable, clean, and spacious suite, go out for potty breaks, enjoy playtimes with a group of friendly canines or a select few, lounge on the outdoor patio, take long walks within 3 acres of walking trails, or play fetch in one of our large dogs grassy or gravel dog parks. We like to insist that your dog has an active day with us. It gives all the more reason to want to just relax in their suite while watching TV with the staff.

  • Is There a Vet On-Site?

    Margale Pet Resort and the Puppy Training Academy has a mobile Licensed Veterinarian, Dr. Janet Mostin, who has an office on site, and has scheduled visits to our facility periodically. We have Veterinarian Technicians who live on the property and we work closely with local veterinarians who are available to provide emergency services for your pet. 

  • Can My Dogs Stay Together?

    Yes, the same family pets may stay together. There is a discounted rate for the second and any subsequent pet(s) who use the same suite.
